SMIHost™ MOBILE ID SOFTWARE

SMIHost™

This PC software acts as the gateway between the core system or database, and the ST4EX and ST4I Mobile Handheld units.
It enables:
• ODBC connection to database
• Transfer of selected data/images to the hand held devices or cards
• The design of the hand held application screen appearance

Other features include:
• Automatic Image Compression
• Automatic/Manual synchronization with hand held devices
• Writing of data/images to iCLASS and MiFare cards
• The ability to synchronize unlimited hand held devices

SMIHost™ is a PC-based application running on the Microsoft Windows platform.
It facilitates the extraction of selected data out of a host database, and the transfer of that data either to a Smartcard, Handheld database, or wirelessly to the ST4EX and ST4I Handheld Devices.

The application comes in three main versions:

SMIHost-C (data-on-card)
SMIHost-P (data-on-PDA)
SMIHost-W (Wireless/Hybrid)

It enables the end-user to select which data they would like to see displayed on the Handheld, and even design the layout of the Handheld screen – in other words how that data is displayed.
